Dr. Alan Shonubi is the senior and founding Partner of Shonubi, Musoke & Co, a leading law firm in Uganda. He has over the years specialized in corporate and commercial law. Dr. Shonubi has consistently been ranked as a leading lawyer in notable publications namely; IFLR1000 and Chambers and Partners and is currently recognized as a Senior Statesmen by Chambers Global. Prior to joining private practice, he served in the insurance and banking fields of law.
Dr. Shonubi has served in many professional capacities including President of the East African Law Society and Vice President of the Uganda Law Society. He received professional recognition as Senior Counsel, the highest possible rank that can be attained by a practicing advocate in Uganda. He also serves as a chairperson on various boards and is the Patron of Entebbe Hospital and Entebbe Red Cross among others in the region and in Uganda.
