The NIC Holdings ltd team headed by the Ag. Managing Director Mr. Elias Edu visited the Nazareth Children’s home in Masaka, the visit happened during the management retreat that is held annual in different parts of the country as a way to connect with their customers and the communities in which they operate. Children are a key area in the company’s CSR program.
The Ag. MD Mr. Edu noted that it is important to recognize the community that has supported NIC for over 50 years and give back to those in need because without the community the organization would not thrive. He explained that children are key assets to the country and it is vital to protect them and create and environment in which they can flourish. He vowed to continue supporting such initiatives in the future.
Josephine Namakola who runs the home thanked NIC for their generosity and encourages other organizations to step in and support the various communities in which they are in. She then vowed to continue her work with the children.
