Mr. Akinlolu Akinyele

Mr. Akinyele is the current Group Managing Director/CEO of Industrial and General Insurance Plc (IGI Plc). He is a graduate of Biochemistry from the University of Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria. He also holds an MBA from the prestigious Lagos Business School. He is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner, an Associate (ACII) of the Chartered Insurance Institute, London and Nigeria. Mr. Akinyele has held various leadership positions within the insurance sector including as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Coronation Life Assurance Limited, the General Manager and Head Oil & Gas, Aviation and Emerging Corporates Division of AXA Mansard Insurance amongst other top positions.
